The Linen Industry in Limerick


Limerick Historical Society will hold its next lecture on Monday March 9th next at 8 p.m.  The lecture will be given by Noel Murphy on the history of the linen industry in Limerick.   Noel is a graduate of the University of Limerick ‘Cert in Local History’ and is currently completing his masters at UL.  The lecture will take place at the meeting room near the Redemptorist Church.  (Change of venue from one previously announced!)  Everybody welcome.

Limerick Historical Society's next lecture is on Monday February 10th next at 8 p.m.  The lecture will be on John Toler, 1st Earl of Norbury, nicknamed the ‘Hanging Judge’. It will be given by John Flannery, past President of Ormond Historical Society. 
Lecture in Room T16, Tara Building, (near Lime Tree Theatre), Mary Immaculate College. Everybody is welcome.

The Templemore Miracles


Limerick Historical Society will hold its next lecture on Monday January 13th next at 8 p.m.  The lecture will be on the Templemore bleeding statues in 1920 given by John Reynolds, Garda Sergeant from Templemore Garda Training Centre. Lecture in Room T19, Tara Building, (near Lime Tree Theatre), Mary Immaculate College.
