Was there Christianity in Ireland before St Patrick? 
Alf Monaghan traces the origin of pre-Christian religious beliefs in Ireland. He will link Irish monasticism with the early Irish Church and the Coptic Church. Lecture at 8 p.m. on Monday 8th April 2019 in Room T17, Tara Building,  (near Lime Tree Theatre) Mary Immaculate College                                         
Alf Monaghan was born in Castlebar and now lives in Carrick-on-Shannon in Leitrim. A Commerce graduate from U.C.D. he has spent most of his life working on trade and economic development abroad.
