Rrevisiting 1950's Limerick: Mon Mar 11th,8PM


Limerick Historical Society monthly lecture for March will be "Notes towards a memory book: Revisiting 1950's Limerick" by Gearóid Ó Tuathaigh, Emeritus Professor of History at NUIG.  Lecture is  on Monday March 11th at 8 p.m. in Mary Immaculate College.  Go to Room T17 in the Tara Building .  Note that this is a new location!  Admisssion is free and non members are welcome.  

Gearóid Ó Tuathaigh, who is one of Ireland’s most popular and respected historians, is a native of Limerick city and his reflections on the city and people of his youth will ensure neither will be forgotten. The lecture will explore aspects of the fascinating relationship between History and Memory.
