The Templemore Miracles

Limerick Historical Society will hold its next lecture on Monday January 13th next at 8 p.m.  The lecture will be on the Templemore bleeding statues in 1920 given by John Reynolds, Garda Sergeant from Templemore Garda Training Centre. Lecture in Room T19, Tara Building, (near Lime Tree Theatre), Mary Immaculate College.
Everybody is welcome.

John Reynolds has published a new book on this subject: The Templemore Miracles, Jimmy Walsh, Ceasefires and Moving Statues. This story is closely bound up with outrages and reprisals happening against the background of the War of Independence in 1920. John Reynolds is a serving member of An Garda Siochana and he founded the Garda College Museum in 2002.
